Lombok Indonesia

Lombok has known as group of animist farmers called the Sasak, who created a small kingdom sometime before the 17th century. The Sasak made their way to Lombok long before most of Indonesia’s other ethnic groups settled among the 13,000 odd islands of the archipelago. It is believed that the Sasak migrated from either Burma or northwest India, but few archaeological remains exist to verify this theory. In the early years, Lombok was made up of dozens of tiny clans, each ruled by a Sasak prince. There was constant fighting among the clans, which the neighbouring Balinese princes used to their advantage when they conquered the island. The Balinese ruled Lombok from the middle of the 1700s until the 1890s, when the Dutch arrived on the scene and backed the indigenous Sasaks. 

Lombok island is the most popular holiday destination in Indonesia’s among world wide travellers and holiday makers. Lombok located East of Bali, it’s take 25 minutes by flight and taking 1 hour by fast boat. The fabled Gili Islands drawing visitors for action both in and out of the water, mighty Mount Rinjani luring climbers, and the big breaks on the south coast a magnet for surfers.

Lombok is an island in province west nusa tenggara , It forms part of the chain of the lesser sunda island with the lombok strait separating it from bali island to the west and the alas strait between it and sumbawa island to the east. It is roughly circular, The provincial capital and largest city on the island is Mataram.

1. Gili's Island

     

Gili's Island is a group of 3 three magnificient island in lombok.

Gili is the designation for a small island surrounded by a sea of ​​so Gili seen as a floating island in the middle of the ocean. The beauty that you can enjoy in this place such as sea water is very clear as glass, white sand, coral reefs and many species of marine life, other than that the air quality is excellent due to the local laws do not allow motor vehicles (motorcycles or cars , while the vehicle is allowed to be used by tourists in the form of Cidomo (an abbreviation of 3 types of vehicles "cikar" "Dokarr" "Cars"). Three Gili in Lombok island which is very famous among other Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air with hallmark and the uniqueness of each.

2. Senggigi Beach

Senggigi beach known as one af the famous tourism destination in lombok. Senggigi beach located in batu layar, west lombok, west nusa tenggara. in senggigi you can find lot of accomodation , restaurant and many else. 

in senggigi beach you can find white sandy beach with blue white ocean. many water sport that you can do in here, such as snorkling, swimming,etc.

Senggigi is on of the portal to gili's island beside bangsal harbour. located about 15 minutes driving from capital city mataram.

3. Kuta Beach

Kuta beach located in south of lombok island. in here you'll get offering a beautifull panorama of the hill and white sandy beach. before you get in kuta beach you'll find natural village of sasak " Sade Village ". from the lombok International Airport  "BIL"  it will takes about 20 minutes to reach kuta beach. 
in kuta beach already has acomodation from homestay until 5star hotel or resort also restaurant, etc.
Very natural and untouchable area or beach will make your trip and holiday become unforgetable.
